With the take-over of Business Objects, SAP has extended its portfolio by several well established front-end tools for reporting (Crystal Reporting, Web Intelligence, Voyager, Xcelsius) and consolidation (Cartesis). In conjunction with the NetWeaver 2004s platform, SAP is now offering a BI solution that covers all, flexible data storage up to state-of-the-art high profile reports. 

Business Objects and Caleo established a consulting partnership immediately after this extension to ensure that Caleo is involved in the developments of an integrated platform of Business Objects and SAP.

As of July, 1st 2008 the lawful integration of Business Objects Deutschland GmbH into the SAP Deutschland AG & Co.KG was undertaken. The market leading Business-Intelligence solutions and services are since then available as BusinessObjects^TM of SAP.
